Hi! I’m so glad you’re here and grateful to be part of your care team. A few things to note:

RATE INCREASE: Effective November 1, 2026, rates for 40- and 55-minute appointments will increase in keeping with the recommended fee guidelines from the Physiotherapy Association of BC. Rates for 25-minute appointments will remain unchanged.

LANGLEY: Kate is now seeing patients at her Langley office in Willoughby Town Centre. Please scroll to the Langley section to book.

NEW PATIENTS: In addition to your initial assessment, please book 2–3 follow-up sessions spaced 1–2 weeks apart. For virtual care, select an appointment under Online Physiotherapy. If you can’t find a time that works, please add yourself to the waitlist to be notified of cancellations. Kate is not currently accepting new patients in New Westminster.

LOCATIONS: Langley: Willoughby Town Centre, 7980B 206A Street. New Westminster: Aveta Midwifery, 3rd floor, 223 Nelson’s Crescent (South Tower).

If you haven’t been to the clinic before, please allow extra time to find the office. There may not be someone at the front desk when you arrive; Kate will come get you at your appointment time.

INSURANCE: Direct billing is available for most extended health providers. Gravida does not direct bill MSP and does not currently accept ICBC or WorkSafeBC cases.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to the full appointment fee, which cannot be billed to insurance. If you’re unable to attend in person, consider switching to a virtual appointment, which many extended health plans cover.

Kate holds a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia, which she completed in 2016, following undergraduate studies at the University of Victoria. She began working in pelvic health physiotherapy in 2017, after recognizing how underserved people often are during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and throughout different stages of life.

With a decade of clinical experience, Kate has developed a practice focused on supporting individuals with pelvic pain, bladder and bowel concerns, menopause symptoms, and particularly pregnancy-related symptoms and postpartum core and pelvic floor recovery. She has completed extensive post-graduate training in pelvic health and is committed to ongoing education to ensure her care reflects current research and best practices.

Kate’s interest in pelvic health is also shaped by personal experience. As someone who has gone through two unmedicated vaginal births, she brings a deep understanding of the physical and emotional realities that can accompany pregnancy, birth, and recovery.

In her work with clients, Kate integrates education, hands-on treatment, and individualized exercise to empower people to understand their bodies and feel supported throughout their care. She strives to create a welcoming, inclusive space where clients feel listened to, respected, and actively involved in their health journey.

Kate loves building connection and a sense of community through her work. She is active in her profession as a member of the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia, the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Women’s Health Division, the Canadian Society for Pelvic Medicine, and the Women’s Health Training Association, but her real passion is sharing practical, usable information and helping people feel less alone in their bodies. That’s a big reason she runs pre- and postnatal classes, where movement becomes a way to connect, learn, and support one another. She also enjoys giving back locally and volunteers with New West Family Place and Burnaby Family Life.

When she’s not seeing clients, Kate’s time is almost entirely spent keeping up with her two young kids, ages 3 and 5. She fits in weight training and running when she can, still enjoys travel (a little less spontaneously than pre kids), and remains optimistic in her ongoing trial-and-error relationship with both baking and gardening.
